Step Into the Role

As part of its expansion and to strengthen our field teams, NORMEC ABIOLAB is actively seeking two candidates for the position of Food and Environmental Hygiene Technician – M/F on a permanent contract.

Your main responsibilities will be as follows:

• Plan your customer visits,

• Prepare the equipment needed to take samples (food, water, legionella, etc.),

• Take samples in accordance with internal procedures,

• Carry out hygiene inspections and audits,

• Record information related to your samples (Excel + dedicated software),

• Managing and ensuring the maintenance and storage of equipment for collections and sampling,

• Acting as the main point of contact for customers for “field” services,

• Providing daily reports to the scheduling team,

• Ensuring we deliver on our customer promise.

Our Offer

• Contract: Permanent position available immediately.

• Location: one position in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, the other in the Ile-de-France region.

• Hours: daytime, 35 hours per week.

• Company car, gas card, PC, and cell phone provided.

• Company works council.

• Salary: to be determined based on profile.

The Normec Fit

• You have a Baccalaureate or Bac+2/3 scientific degree in water or food sciences, and ideally have some initial experience in a similar position in the environmental or agri-food sector (including work-study programs and/or internships).

• You are independent, rigorous, and enjoy teamwork, contact, and customer relations.

• A manual driving license is required, and you must be comfortable driving on all types of roads (city, country, etc.).
